Good Bye To CalPoly

CPMTNS

View from my hotel. I’m going to miss the people & the views!

Great CIM CTI at CalPoly Pomona, and it has been an excellent two weeks!  I have learned as much as my participants as they brought a ton of knowledge to the table in many different areas if CIM.

For instance, participant Nick Real, the Machine Tool Technology Dept. Chair at Cerritos College, wrote a speeds and feeds calculator as a flash animation, and it can be found here at my new favorite CIM website: Virtual Machine Shop.

We even had a POE CTI Instructor, Mike Martin, who helped out a ton with RobotC, as he just finished teaching POE in San Diego and Calpoly!

Lastly, congratulations to Karen Capestro on your upcoming retirement. enjoy the time and your grandchildren! Thank you for all you’ve done.

Thanks to all my participants, Dr. Ontiveros, Associate Dean, and PLTW Coordinator, and the rest of the staff and faculty at CalPoly Pomona for an excellent two weeks. Also to Joe Galdonik and Ulus: If you need something computer or material related at CalPoly, these are the go to guys!

See you next year!
