Ever wonder how a “real” CNC machine works in manufacturing?  Here are some examples in video form that Jim passed on to me of CNC machines making some very intricate parts.

These examples show how you can machine on multiple axis, how coolant is used, and how fast CNC machines really are. Keep in mind, you would never really make a motorcycle helmet out of a solid block of aluminum for many reasons. Can you come up with a few?
