On November 18th, in Binghamton NY, PLTW NY will be holding it’s annual conference, and I have been asked to woerk with a few others to do a presentation on how to sustain a PLTW program, as well as promote it.

I will be working with two others from other school districts and they are:

Todd Mensch: Todd is the District Administrator for the Wappingers Falls Central School District which includes the Roy C. Ketcham Senior and John Jay High Schools. I visited John Jay High School last year and was very impressed with the in-school and community promotion of the PLTW program. There are banners, signs, and multiple display cases highlighting the program and the students€™ work or achievements.

Lee Roscoe: Lee has been the principal at Westhill Senior High School since 2008. Westhill is one of the twelve original PLTW schools. The Engineering Program has been in place at the school for nearly 20 years.
